Undeserved Favour.

Romans 6;1"What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?² By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?"
We have been given the Grace not that we continue in sin and give excuses for our sin but that we may live above sin. Grace is the free and unmerited favour of God. Favour is travelling everyday and not getting an accident, being loved by everyone not because you are angel but because God's Grace rests upon you, it also includes getting gifts from God and many more. I am sure we all have experienced God's undeserved favour in our lives. Do you know why? God doesnt give us Grace because of who we are. God doesnt depend on us, we depend on Him. The moment we realise that we are not going to church because we want God to hear our prayers or start praying and fasting because exams  are around the corner is when we shall understand God's Grace. The verse For God so loved the world that He gave His only son explains the beginning of His Grace. The preceding verses in Romans 6;2-12 explains why we are dead to sin. We are dead to sin because we died with Him and we believe will also live with Him because Christ defeated death. God loved us long before we even knew Him. Love is expressed through giving. God gives us, favour and the only way to bless His Heart is not to misuse the grace. Many times as christians we use God's word to shield us because we have seen our lives as perfect and already done. 2 Timothy 4;3 says that a time will come when men will preach what their ears want to hear. But we have to finish the race and keep the faith. Our works shall be tested by fire for the quality so lets build our foundations on gold not silver, or costly stones or wood or hay or straw because they will be burned down. 1Corinthians 3;12-15.  Lets flee from the evil desires ( by the way not only evil desires of the body, but all sin like foolish and stupid arguements,quarrels pride name them) and pursue righteousness because we have been brought from death to life through God's Grace.
2 Timothy 3;16, "All  scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching,rebuking,correcting and training in righteousnes, so that the man of God maybe thoroughly equipped for every good work."
I am not perfect either but God perfects us day by day and May God help us to allow Him to perfect us. 2 Timothy 4; 2 "preach the word: be prepared in season and out of season;correct,rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction." We are no longer slaves to sin but alive in Christ so lets go and shine our lights brighter as God's temples.

Break loose

 For God has not given us a spirit of fear,but of power and love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1;7. I dont want to sound like a preacherman but I have got to say it anyway,BREAK LOOSE. Break loose of your fears or timidity and anything that is holding you back from your potential because God has given you power,love and a sound mind. you have the power to do anything if you set your mind it. Its that simple. Dont sit back and spout because you tried and failed. Get up and rip off the fear of trying again. keep trying . There's a saying that when you fall you have not failed, rise up, shake off the dust and keep moving; you only fail when you stay on the ground.

Lemmi talk about my personal experience, on 19th January, Sonny's birthday,my longtime buddy, I decided to open a blog to start a new journey of my life. Actually my blog shares a birthday with her lol.. From time immemorial  have always had a fear of expressing myself especially through writing so I decided I break the fear and give a shot and as you read this blog this is the second edition hehee.. At around 9;20pm that day, I was feeling so sleepy so I tell my roomate I was going to sleep because I was feeling tired and that we had a 7;30 am lecture the nextday. But alas, God had a different plan for me. I started listening to a few songs of Israel Houghton and I got inspired to write something about God and boom I started to write my blog. At first I said I would write it and keep it but the end of the typing, I was more inspired to publish it and make noise about it to all my friends. and trust me, God doesnot disappiont, He is always with us and He gave us the power, love and soundmind so use it. This is my testimony though it happened miraculously, it can happen for anyone to even far better than you can think. 1 Corinthians 1;9, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."

I got my movitation from Atim Mercy a very close sweet darling in my life. She is the sweetest thing there has ever been on planet earth. Literally, the best thing that ever happened to me. If she's not your friend, you should stalker. Yes, i have permitted you because I cannot just comprehend what she is made of. She did for me a 7 day blog for my birthday week. I walked on the moon each day i read her blog. I  cant stop saying thank you to her. I thought to myself, I should be blogger too one day and boast of my friends, and the Love of God  most importantly . Love you Mercy to the moon and back.

ALL I WANT IS YOU!

Nothing in this world can sastify our hearts like You and I call "You" Jesus. Yes, the Lord is good and I will shout it from the mountain top. "He leads us besides still waters and green pastures." Psalm 23;2. Do you have an idea what that means? No, you dont? Life worries; food,clothes,drink, education, future spouse are covered {green pastures and still waters}. The Lord is the healer, mender, lover, redemeer. The Lord's hand is always upon us, the Lord protects us, He watches us,even before we know Him, He knows us, He is the giver of life, Our supplier, God is more than enough for us. Matthew6;33: "but seek the kingdom of God and all His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you." These things which the Bible is  refering to are in the pretext in Matthew 6;25-32 the worries of life,food, drink and clothes but you have to first seek the Kingdom of God first before you acquire all these promises even though He is a patient God waiting for everyone to turn back to him(2 Peter3;9).  His righteousness is spirituality like His Holiness, the Bible tells us in 1Peter 1;15 to be holy as Christ was Holy. Seeking His kingdom includes worship and evangelism.

Eternity is longer than life why struggle for life yet life is shorter than eternity. Dont worry about these worldly things for they are for a while but eternity is forever. Matthew 6;19, " do not lay up yourselfves on earth,where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where theives donot break in and steal. For where your treasure is,there your heart will be also." Clap your hands,shout and dance to Jesus.
Nothing in this world makes God happy like a heart of Worship.  May we worship God today in truth and spirit. Dont condemn yourself of your sins, yesterday is gone and behold today is a new day. Isaiah 43;18 "dont remember the former the things,nor consider the things of the old. Behold, I will do a new thing,now it shall spring forth,shall you not know it?" James 4;8 says Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Everything is about God, let Jesus be the centre of everything in your life. Let Jesus be all you want.
OH LORD!! how I long for YOU . JESUS, YOU'RE ALL WE WANT!
